2. Is the county where I received my ticket approved on this internet course?

3. What is the difference between Traffic School 4 Less.com and other "home study" traffic schools?
Traffic School 4 Less.com is a completely interactive "at home" study course. Other traffic schools require you to take home video gear and set it up in your home. During the video you must answer questions then fax back your answers to the provider, when finished you still must return the equipment. Still other schools will require you to actually download reading material and tests which you must also fax back to the provider. The drag about both of the above mentioned schools is TIME! Here at Traffic School 4 Less.com we believe your time is important. Therefore we created the most user friendly and time efficient website/course around. We never require you to download any reading material and our course is as brief and to the point as possible.

4. What are the "hidden messages"?
Some Counties require students to find "embedded" or "hidden" messages throughout a course to ensure readership.  For the Counties that require this, we use very simple and popular subjects that most (if not all) people should recognize.  An example of a "hidden" message could be "Winne the Pooh".  No more than one "hidden" character can be found for any given section and we only have 6 units in any given course.

5. Can you fax or mail my certificate directly to the courts for me?
Starting January 2002, it is the responsibility of the student to give/send their own certificate to the appropriate court for most counties except for L.A. County. Once you pass the necessary quizzes and final exam, your certificate will be processed within 24-72 hours and mailed to you. (L.A. County certificates will be faxed directly to the court.)

6. Do I have to complete the course all at once?
No, you may take as long as you would like to complete our course, 24 hours a day 7 days a week, however, you should pay attention to the courts due date and be sure to complete the course prior to the deadline.

7. Do I need an e-mail address?
No, you do not need a email address to take our course.  However, you will not experience the full functionality of our website by missing out on key emails sent with Usernames/Passwords and links to download copies of Completion Certificates.

9. If I have already attended traffic school in the past 18 months, can I take you course anyway?
In most cases No. But you may plead your case before a judge and try to get an exception waiver.

10. Do you have overnight or express delivery to expedite my court certificate?
You may request overnight or 2nd day delivery at the start of the course, or if already finished by contacting us at 888-257-5377 . Costs range from $15.00 to $35.00 extra for these services. (All certificates will be processed Mon-Fri only. We must receive your final exam by 1pm in order for your certificate to be processed same day.)

11. Can I pay for the course with a personal check or money order?
Yes, you may send payment in form of a personal check or money order.  You can register immediately on our website, however you will not be able to continue until we have received and processed your payment.  We also offer secure payment on the web by Verisign, who is the Internets most popular payment gateway company.

12. Do you offer a mail booklet course study?
Yes, we offer booklet courses for all of our counties except those listed below.  Due to production costs, our workbook study course is usually a bit higher than our online course.
There are currently two counties in California that DO NOT allow our workbook course:
1. Fresno County
2. Nevada County

13. Can I obtain a refund at any time?
In the unlikey event that you do not pass our final exam, which of course you have multiple times to retake the exam if necessary, we would be more than happy to refund your payment in the method that you oringinally paid. Remember that you have multiple chances to read the material and take the final exam if necessary.

14. How do I get to the final exam?
The only way to get to the final exam is to read through all online chapters/ sections and take their respective quizzes. You must pass each quiz with at least an 80% score. If you do not pass any given quiz you will be required to re-read that section, then retake the quiz. Take the tests as many times as you need to!

No, you have as much time as needed to complete the course.  Plus we keep your account active once you have successfully passed a course, to allow you to remove future tickets off your record.

19. Can I take the course if I am a juvenile?
California currently has only three counties that DO NOT allow approved juvenile home-study traffic school:
1. San Bernardino County
2. San Diego County
3. EL Dorado County.

20. I just received a ticket. How do I know if I am eligible for traffic school?
In California, the DMV allows a person to take traffic school once every 18 months. Contact your court for clarification.

21. I already paid money to the court. Do I also have to pay for traffic school?
Yes, the amount paid to the court was only for the violation, you must pay additionally to have the ticket removed from your record.

22. What is "verified identity testing"?
Some courts require that your identity be verified prior to you taking the final exam. Our course allows you to study the sections/material and take the quizzes online. You will then be required to proceed to a local notary nearest to you to have your ID verified. Click Here to see if "verified identity" is required for your court. (ID verification is not required for out-of-state residents in: San Bernardino & Kern counties.)

23. Where do I have to go to get my ID verified, or my test notarized?

24. How long will it take me to complete your course?
All technology based online traffic schools have mandated 8 hours worth of reading material. We understand that all students read and study at different paces. So.... most TrafficSchool4Less.com Courses have no timers in our program (only counties mandated to do so), we leave how quickly/slowly you complete our course up to YOU!
